The Godby girls’ basketball team can be summed up in one word: unpredictable.
It started early this season when adversity struck. Returning starter Kenijah Clayton was sidelined for the year after tearing her ACL during flag football last spring. Head coach Chelsea Johnson-Muir had to pivot quickly, leaning on a new mix of upperclassmen with limited experience and freshmen stepping into big roles.
